The Hidden Treasure in Steemit

Look beyond what you see.
Rafiki, (Lion King).

Look closely. There is a treasure in Steemit. In this vast ocean of fantastic and auspicious awesomeness, there is a chest full of wonderful treasures. So many newbies will miss this because they are carried away by the rewards from creating content and curation but those who can look closely (or beyond) and observe their surroundings will get it.

@ned said in an interview for Steemfest last year that what he sees happening in the future is the blending of an incredible user experience with education on the site that makes people more comfortable very quickly.

Incredible User Experience

I believe that the Steemit UI will totally surpass the likes of Facebook. I'm not a tech guy but I believe our witnesses and programmers and developers are working hard to make steemit have the best user experience. Right now a lot of people join for the money but I see a situation in the future where the site is going to be so good that people are going to join for the sake of the value that they can get here and not just the money.

Heck! People will pay to use Steemit when they discover what they can do with it. Just look at all the applications built on the Steem blockchain. Steemit is like Medium, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Fiverr, Spotify, Youtube, and Bitcoin all combined in a steaming hot pot of auspicious awesomeness.

Education

With any new technology there is always this period of necessary education. In the tech or startup world, when a company become really successful it’s because they have really great timing. If you come in too early, you have far too much education to provide. Luckily there is a community that is incentivised to provide that. It’s a big learning curve for the user.

The combination of having a very supportive community and making sure that we have and develope the easiest way for people to learn these things quickly is all very important.

@ned released a post yesterday and he was talking about smart media tokens. It seems to be a really great topic now and I'm looking into it. As soon as I am able to get the a full grasps of it(and ATTEMPT to read the 50page whitepaper) I will share what I get in a simplified way for the newbies.

This is the real treasure! Education! This is the hidden treasure in Steemit.

I've seen so many newbies come into steemit as complete cryptocurrency novice but in the process of ‘steeming’ they begin to ask questions like how do I cash out my earnings and then they learn about bitcoin and @blocktrades and they start looking at coinmarketcap for the price of steem and before you know it they start learning about @dan and @ned and become educated in matters of cryptocurrency. This is what Steemit is does for the cryptocurrency market and the uninitiated masses. This is why it is called the gateway drug for cryptocurrencies.

They kind of value that steem is adding to the ‘crypto-space’ is under appreciated. Ordinary people-students, teenagers, lawyers, doctors, grocery clerks, football players(like @modernpastor)- who may not have had the interest, ‘the balls’ nor the time to gamble in exchanges can now actually earn(mine) cryptocurrency. This is exciting! For the first time we have a cryptocurrency that is usable and not meant for just speculation. Fantastic!

Do you see it now. Steemit is more than just ‘money talks’. It's more than just creating quality content or playing the curation game.

My advice to newbies is; learn as much as you can. Look beyond what you see, only then can you find the hidden treasures in steemit.

Thank you for spending your precious time to read this.

Sundayselfies is a fantastic way to show love and give to the people you care about in Steemit.

It's a weekly selfie challenge that spans the entire week. It opens on Sunday and closes on Saturday.

Ofcourse its unbelievable. The ability for anyone anywhere in the world to start blogging on steemit with no capital and begin to earn just like that is unbelievable. But its happening

Auspicious awesomeness

I'm registering the words in your name. So no man needs bother to ask what tojukaka means.
Thank you, looking forward to reading a demystified whitepaper.

Thank you so much for your compliment

You sure have a way with words

My own boss...your post is always full of inspiration. Steemit holds alot for the future . i believe is set to make millions of people millionaires. Am jxt glad am part of such a wonderful community. Nice one boss.

Thank you so much

Steemit does have a great potential, but will need to make some real improvements before going mainstream. As of now, there's too many great posts drowning in the vast amount I posts here, and I believe this must be addressed before any type of mass adoption can take place.

When Steemit gets the Reddit type subforums in place, we might be there.

Thanks for this knowledge bro. Do not forget to Follow back me. Thanks @muhammadrovi
