RE: [LEARN & EARN - Week #16] What did you learn in the last couple of days? **2 STEEM BOUNTY**
Good thing you reminded me once again. Although I don't have a lot of obligations (no job, no kids) I never have enough time to do everything I want/need to do, lol. If only a day would have 72 hours... ;0)
So, here we go...
Once again, I learned that you shouldn't bite off more than you can chew, because you'll be paying the price for it later. I learned (like I said: once again) that I should listen to my body. Earlier this week, my back was relatively OK, so I did a couple of chores in the garden. At one point, I felt a bit of pain, but wanted to finish what I was doing. Bad idea. The two following days I could hardly move. I should have taken it easy and go lie down every hour or so instead of going on for a couple of hours.
I hope I remember this time.
I learned once again that you should always sleep with one eye open when it comes to services provided by the government . They will try to screw you over every chance they have. *(Not in the mood to explain, I just had to let it go for a sec)
I learned - thanks to @brittandjosie - how to find the date of older blog posts.
I also learned that the Steemmonsters tournament bracket is built in a completely different way than I thought it was. I would never have imagined it would be built according to how early you signed up for the tournament. I always thought it was ranked-based...
hahaha I feel totally the same :D altho I'd be happy with 30 hours :D 72 is way too much to ask for haha :D
Hmmm how do you find out the posting date? sounds interesting..
Btw, I remember you posting veeery similar learning...about your back issues..like one month ago. Hope you really learn from it this time :) Thanks for entering!
Just go to the post and change the URL so it says https://steemd.com/... instead of https://steemit.com/... and you'll find the date at the top.
Since a couple of months, I've been using RSS and IFTTT to automatically save all dates, titles and links to my posts to a Google spreadsheet, so for those posts I can just refer to the spreadsheet, but it is useful for the posts I published before I had this system set up.
Probably won't be the last time, lol. I may be a teacher, but when it comes to learning things myself... sometimes I need dozens of lessons before I finally get it :0)
Hmmm that'sa nice trick! thx!
hahah same here :)
