RE: Some reasons to learn the Thai language
Neutral?
How can something have a neutral gender? Historically, the male gender has also been a neutral gender as well, in the English language, but also in other languages as well, for thousands of years, if not since the dawn of time.
Bible
For example, in the Bible, it will say, "Man shall not live by bread alone." So, the word "MAN" there means MANKIND or PEOPLE in general. In the past, MAN would mean people, and not just the male gender. In other words, MAN has been neutral in the past, for some languages, it would seem. In other words, MAN has been used to identify males and females.
Thai
Thai seems tough to learn but it does seem to be interesting. That is good. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for such an informative comment :) as usual 😊
