The Importance of Maintaining Health

in #education7 years ago

I would like to talk about the importance of schools teaching health education.

The word “healthy” is familiar to every individual, both young and old. Being healthy is one of the most precious blessings given to us. Humans should be grateful for good health and work to maintain the best health possible. With a healthy body we can enjoy the blessings of life.

When you look at those who are sick you see strong people become weak. You witness the ability to eat and drink decline and the spirit of life weaken. Those who are sick sit uneasy, sleep uncomfortably, and have chaotic minds.

Many people are negligent and unaware of the ways they harm their bodies through unhealthy practices. They work day and night to seek treasures of the world without caring about themselves.

They eventually realize how important it is to maintain their health when their bodies begin to break down and they become sick or weak. When a disease attacks the body, a once strong person can become weakened. Weaknesses include the mouth having a hard time pronouncing words and sharp eyes becoming blurred so they can’t see the treasures collected. Treasures are sold to buy medical care.

People often forget that medical care is expensive and having good health is extremely valuable. They also forget that every body has rights. The eyes have the right to sleep. A strong body has the right to rest. A weak body has the right to obtain sufficient nutritional intake.

My last message is:

  1. Always keep your health as good as possible. Eat and drink good food to ensure you get enough nutrition.

  2. Apply the practice of satisfaction to your life: Try to always feel your eaten enough but not excessively. Eat a third of a good and nutritious meal to fill your stomach, drink a third of a beverage, and a take a third of an hour for your digestion.

  3. Do not get used to eating so much you always feel hungry. Get used to not eating too much or to stop eating when you feel full.

  4. Spend time exercising so your body is fit and your health is maintained. Sports are a great activity. You can go swimming, take up archery, or you can find other sports you enjoy.

  5. Do not get used to a spoiled life. Every drop of sweat that comes out and flows all over your body due to activity is helpful. The skin’s pores will open and blood circulation will run normal. Exercise can help you avoid various diseases such as heart disease. Remember, "prevention is better than a cure."

Thank you friendshipislife :)

It is true that schools need to focus on health, but it also needs to start at home. The parents have to realize and teach their children the importance of eating healthy and exercising. I like the first picture - it is the reason I clicked on to your post. :) Have a great day!
