The School Vs the Streets.
Schooling is becoming antiquated.It needs to be upgraded to fit the changing times retaining information that is relevant to our generation while doing away with outdated practices that holds no water and is best relegated to the past.
The high dropout rate in schools and colleges shows that people don't see much use in going to conventional schools anymore and would rather get their education from the streets because they believe the knowledge gained from the street is far more valuable and in some cases superior to the knowledge gained within the four walls of any classroom.
Second reason i believe the dropout rate is high because people are not motivated enough to stay in school due to the fact that there is no assurance of a place in the labour market when their schooling is at an end.
It doesn't help the course of the conventional education that those who drop out of schools go on to run reputable businesses and companies with graduates of colleges of education and universities working for them.
With the advent of the Internet.A new kind of street was made ,the kind where information travels at blistering light speeds,and it can only be accessed by a few mouse clicks and numerous keystrokes and only those well versed in its intricate language can be able to take full advantage of it,so in essence the internet has become a defacto form of education for the masses with both positive and negative
consequences.
We should not forget that we live in a physical realm and that all the things needed to sustain life on the planet are products of conventional education even though this knowledge is readily available on the internet they are a poor substitute compared to those who have had apprenticeship in pursuit of the said knowledge often requiring years to study and perfect their skills
That being said we need to totally overhaul the entire schooling system and make it up-to-date with the needs and demands of the present times by seamlessly integrating the real world knowledge found in the streets and those obtainable in the classroom rendering it suitable for the time we find ourselves in. .

@badmusgreene, yeah, I can say you as a boy working at 18 two jobs at once that street is more valuable. At school or university you'll never know how really fucked up a lot of people in life are, and how even people with money are fucked up. You'll never realise the importance of staying healthy, meditating, and earning money all at once, well, maybe when you'll find yourself broke, unhealthy and unconscious at the age of 40, or, in worst case, at the brink of death, will you realise it. Too late, buddy.

Yeah man, that's how it is, unfortunately. Although I talked about realities in Russia, does this applicable to your country? You are from US, right? Cause I've never seen anyone but english-speaking people making up this convoluted two-rows sentences :)
Also it is kinda sad to see how teachers in university are also unconscious and unhappy. Like, they are teaching us and at the same time they themselves are not what they want to teach. I kinda want everyone to be happy and enjoy life, you know. Cause life is just a dream, nothing more.
