Some seem better able to rationally adjust to their emotions than others, meaning that for some emotions do control them. However, I recall a story about a person who had a stroke that eliminated his emotions--he had trouble making even simple decisions, such as about which restaurant to go to. We can logically consider a lot of factors, but even after that the ultimate decision may come down to how you feel about your options.

H-m-m! Good point about the importance of our emotions. I never considered that and we do go by how we feel and then there is our gut feelings that often get ignored but probably should get listened to more.
