RE: Stop Listening to People and Focus on Yourself
I have to agree, if people can't accept me for who I am that is their problem not mine. I accepted myself long ago.
It is funny you mention Col. Sanders, I happened to do some work for his grandson back in the mid 80's , his name was Lee, he was the spitting image of his grandfather, the Col., and he also had a chain of chicken restaurants named Lee's Country Fried Chicken.
He also knew the secret recipe to the Kentucky Fried Chicken breading, all the seasonings and spices.
Oh wow, that's such a great thing and thank you for sharing it with us. How did his restaurant go? And yes, you are right, if people cannot accept you for who you are, that's not your problem at all. So happy to see your comment here :)
The parent company of Kentucky Fried Chicken bought him out back years ago, he grew the mustache and goatee and was the spokesperson playing the Col. for some time. He lived in Memphis, TN. and on his luggage tags his tags always said "Prime Minister of Tennessee", he said he always got free upgrades and special treatment when he traveled overseas. He was a character for sure.
