My dad is coming down soon, but he wouldn't be able to teach me here because immigrants can't have guns here.
Sorry, but it will be good to have Dad visit! They are not hard to learn, but if you can not carry one safely, it won't make any difference.

They are tougher there than here! Do they allow you to call in, or do you have to go there every month.

:)Well, in the long run its much easier here. It only takes 3-4 years for residency, whereas it usually takes much longer in the US, but it's definitely a pain in the butt. We have to go in each month. Every few months they decide to give us a hard time, and of course they only take cash. It's annoying, but it's not the worst thing.
Maybe you should come here. Locally they just phone it in. The guy up the street deposits checks for multiple families that have gone back to Mexico.
Then he pulls cash with a bank card, and sends it south....
