RE: Eco-village dreaming...
Oh well Brighton is something of a hub for all things eco-construction, but land prices and the planning system, especially in the SE tend to scupper any low cost initiatives.
Lammas was a real game changer I think, but the regulations they have to go through are extreme, and land prices around Lammas have doubled since their success! Be good to get rid of that.
I hope to get down to Portugal for sure! I'd much rather be building rather than teaching.
yep! after earthship brighton we had planning permission for an earthship village in brighton on the cliffs.. it NEARLY happened, but the prices of the land made it too costly to do .. sadly that never happened...
im never happier then when im building,, C u there!
