The Irish are slowly being poisoned - Coming soon to a town near you! Part 2

in #ecotrain6 years ago

In my last post about the poison lots of Irish are drinking every day, I mentioned Aspartame, the poison that can be found in most diet drinks and now also in some non-diet drinks. Unfortunately, this is not the only way the Irish (and possibly lots of others) get poisoned. Often these toxic chemicals bring illness and I wouldn't rule out death either. No one will probably tell us if Aspartame is a killer, but I think long-term use could mean just that.
So what else do we have here that is of great concern?

Our drinking water

The drinking water in Ireland is probably one of the worst in Europe, maybe even in the world.
Only last week I read that ALL Irish tap water is laced with pesticides. This doesn't surprise me one bit, since it is normal practice to use highly toxic pesticide here on crops and even in forestry.
This crap then seeps into the main water supply and voilà! A regular filter system as it is used in drinking water filtration only filters larger crap, not pesticides. How's that for ya?

A few years ago, a family friend and politician (now representing Ireland in the EU) pointed out in the government chamber that asking money for dirty drinking water is preposterous, he even asked someone to drink it. YES! You've read it right: they were actually going to charge us to poison us! WHAT a country!
You can check out the video here if you like, it's quite funny. He (Luke 'Ming' Flanagan) was removed from the place and charged with vandalism...YUP! Poisoning the people on a daily basis is legal, telling them about it is not.

Now, the water charges have since long gone, however the toxins and other crap in our water has not.
Here are two pictures I took just today. I distill our water with a water distiller and it shows just how much crap is left behind. Mind you: most people here drink and cook in this crap on a daily basis, thinking that boiling the water will take all the crap out. Now, this could be true for some of it, like bacteria, but definitely not for pesticides and other harmful substances. And if you take into consideration that the Irish are among the biggest tea drinkers, they consume quite a bit of this crap every day. And cook their children's food in it!

Check these out (excuse the bad quality, it's hard to take a picture while holding a glass in the light)

My distiller leaves a little bit of water on the bottom, so it doesn't boil dry and boils all the crap back into the water.
The photos might be blurry, but what you see is very real!

Nice glass of tap water anyone?

Now, this is the crap that stays behind from distilling one gallon (less than 4 litres) of water only!
If you think of how much water people drink in one year and on top of that, how much they use to cook their food in, you have a massive amount of crappy water people digest. YUMMIE!
Needless to say: the quality of the water here is one of the things I don't want to subject my children to much longer.
Now, we distill it, so our drinking water is clean. However, we bathe in this crap though.
Makes you wonder if showering even makes sense...

What else?

I haven't got a clue what this crap in that glass is. It smells horrific. It looks horrific.
For some time now, I've planned to buy a test kit to find out what exactly this crap is. But they're expensive.
So we'll have to wait to find out.
But there is more.
There is something that's in almost every tap here in the country.
I will tell you more about this in another post.
An Irish man, whom I call a friend, has devoted his life to research on this toxin.
He's been doing this, without pay, for the last 8 years or so.
I'm trying to get him on Steemit. But until then, I am going to share some of his findings with you.
So stay tuned, for information on what is probably the most toxic waste that can be found in water.

Sort:

Hear hear! I thought the anti water charges gang should have campaigned against paying for poisonous, filthy water, as opposed to paying for water.

The water charges haven't been scrapped entirely and Irish Water will start to charge for excess usage from January 2019. Since what constitutes excess usage can be altered, albeit only after 5 years, you could see it as introducing the charges through the back door.

Yeah, in politics they always seem to find a back door somehow don't they? I knew the water charges weren't going to go away entirely, that just sounded too good to be true. Tell people it's gone, then make them forget about it and lastly re-introduce it in another form. Just another clever way of stealing from us all!

Some information to back up what you are saying about water quality

OK, thanks for clarifying this :)

Thats horrible ! My gosh that cant be any good for you health :(

That's gross! Our water here is one of my favorite things. It's the best water I've ever had.
