Cutting your hair directly after a full moon (within that first week) promotes slower growth is what my Gran always taught us.
This is super interesting since the moon effects so much of life on earth, very interesting content Lizelle something to keep in mind.
Growing up my Dad planned his garden around seasons, I cannot for the life of me remember if it was moon related timing, all I do know is our small suburban stand offered so much fruit, vegetables and herbs it was amazing. (No Vervet Monkeys in Transvaal...)
I think our grandparents were much wiser than we thought! I must remember the one about the hair cutting; it apparently affects baking as well and I can quite believe that too as some days bread or cake will rise beautifully and other days not, yet I've used the exact same recipe! Thanks for the interesting reply Joan. !tip
Grandparents were more in touch with natural cycles in life, we are losing a lot of "word of mouth" knowledge as time passes. Youth think you are crazy at times when you explain how the older generations did things. Have a wonderful new week Lizelle.
