Just A Perfect Day
"I can wake up at 6am in my inner city townhouse and feel this state. I can drive in traffic and work with my client all day, washing dishes, cooking meals, answering emails, filling out paperwork all at the same time as feeling perfect.
When we actually twig onto the fact that our 'perfect day' is not out there, off in the future, in a different time/place to right here, right now then we actually experience it where ever we are, and whatever we are doing.
Our 'perfect day' is today. We just need to undo all the conditioning that tells us who we are and where we are and what we are doing is not perfect, in order to immerse ourselves in the reality that perfection is quite literally an internal, experiential state."

My Favorite Read: Beyond Religion
"This book talks about how we can create a good global environment by tackling the different types of issues. At some places there are wars that impact people, at some places there is environmental problems, some are dealing with corruption and dirty politics whereas some are dealing with social problems such as alcoholism and drugs. In some or the other way we are damaging our Planet and our lives. We all imagine a peaceful world but how will we get that? Our focus is always external on the material aspects of the life which is the main reason for most of the problems. If we bring our focus to the moral ethics and inner values we can tackle the fundamental problems.
The most important aspect of this book is how he talks about the way we have an approach towards Religion.
Religions have been at the heart of human civilization and they are meant to teach us the inner values, but we have reversed all the philosophies of the Religions. In some parts of the world in the name of Religion there are wars and some use Religion to spread fear, for some Religion is a big business. Religions should ideally lead us to the path of Spiritual well-being and nothing else with its core values."

"For decades, about 15% of fabric intended for clothing has ended up on the cutting room floor of tailors and fashion designers as textile offcuts (waste). This waste is usually being neglected and in a research carried out by @thegreens, we realized that about 1600 – 4000kgs of textile offcuts is produced every month by the more than 800 tailors and fashion designers of Bamenda. Most of this waste gets burned or thrown in the landfill and this has greatly contributed to environmental degradation and accelerated climate change. It’s against this backdrop that @ecodesigns was founded to help solve the problem of textile offcuts pollution, and textile waste pollution as a whole. At @ecodesigns, we are collecting the textile offcuts from tailors and repurposing them to produce pillows, dolls, chalkboard dusters, etc."

"...when the time came, it was to my unconscious primitive mind that I really needed to connect with again, in order to birth my baby. Because when we are born, we are born knowing, that our bodies know what to do. We have no fear, we trust our bodies, we are so much more connected to the whole. We see and we do. The primitive part of the brain controls the processes that occur automatically in our bodies such as breathing, digestion, blinking your eye, heartbeat. Birth is something that can happen automatically, when we actually allow our bodies to do so without interference. But their are so many factors at play today that prevent this from happening."

Things To Do On A Long Weekend
"Kicking it all off with a milk run and elderberry trees in the morning after work. Then it's out to the garden to plant trees and rework the chicken setup. The trees are sourced from a stand of elderberries I found by the highway on the way to the dairy. Don't want to harvest flowers and fruit from the side of a busy street, so I'm bringing some home to live at my place where it's nice."

Making a Work Bench Put Of Pallet
"I can finally feel it is time to make art again... but of course we have this little problem for a lack of DRY space.
I think like an artist, I feel like an artist and I am nuts like an artist... I basically have all the traits of an artist (including an ever wondering mind), but I haven't been creating anything for far too long now!
So It's time to expand and de-clutter my shop! After all, the point of building a nulti-familly homestead with a makerspace is (in part) to have all the tools and space to create whater we want to create!"

Miracles and My Personal Manifestation of Magic in Delfi
Do I believe in Miracles?Oh Yes.Mostly I believe in the miracle that Thoughts Become Things - the power of our thoughts and our deepest inner vibrations (often unconscious) to manifest and change physical reality. I have countless examples, but one shines a little more brightly and surprisingly than the rest.
The year was 1995 and I was 32 years old. I had been in training in Australia for one whole year with a witchy-wise-woman in the women's esoteric arts: everything from sacred drum making, energy healing and trance work to esoteric herbs, tarot and holding Women's Circle. After the full year completed at the Winter Solstice, she announced to myself and the other 2 initiates that the time was coming for me to complete my final initiation. None of us had the foggiest idea what she meant by this and it was not until a week or so later - after much meditation and silence - that she announced to us that MY final initiation needed to take place in Delfi, Greece, on the Rock of the Pythia.
