Revolution or EvoLution?

When the people finally see
how great life can be
free from the lies and deceipt
the world demystified, whole and complete.

Up in arms they cried and protested,
we've had enough of being manipulated,
we're not born to serve your needs,
we can never satisfy your greed.

Their voice was heard around the world,
they reclaimed the streets and their story was told,
but the media always misreported
and in the end their Message was thwarted.

They were removed, tagged and tracked,
for some reason no one had their back,
most who watched the story unfold,
knew not of the real story to be told.

How do you change the world?
Do we wait and see what will unfold?
Do our delusions let us live in an illusion,
How long can we persist in a state of confusion?

You will never know the taste of honey,
Until the nectar meets your tongue,
You will never know the feel of air,
Until you breath it with your lungs.

You will never know the taste of freedom,
if you've always been repressed,
You will never know abundance,
Whilst life is a contest.

There is enough Sun in the Sky,
There is enough water in the sea,
There is enough land on this earth,
For us all to be free.

There isn't any shortage
That isn't man made,
Things are only scarce,
When the world is based on trade.

This world is an illusion,
We are hypnotized into collusion,
Consenting every time we vote,
making them our scapegoat.

When people look back in many years to come,
They will ask 'Why was more not done?',
How could they live and not see the stars,
Breathing black air and keep driving cars?

Why did they continue despite all they knew,
What stopped them from seeing the truth?
Their jugements and ideas were warped,
No one could think anymore.

The system learned to control their minds,
Using every way they could devise,
The TV was just the start,
It continued until their logic disembarked!

IF YOU DON'T VOTE
you should gloat

IF YOU DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE
you won't have any gripe

IF YOU OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE WHAT THEY DO
we can start on the path to something new

IT'S TIME FOR CHANGE, WE'VE HAD ENOUGH
stop what you are doing its time to stand up

LOOK OUT OF THE WINDOW AND SEE THE WORLD
for what it really is, and not what your told

THE CHANGES WE NEED IN THE WORLD TODAY
start with you and me, not they

HAVE WE NOT SEEN ENOUGH DEATH AND DESTRUCTION
to know war is the dumbest option?

HAVE WE NOT CONSUMED ENOUGH STUFF
to know that its never enough?

ONE DAY WE WiLL LOOK BACK
and be thankful we got on the right track.

THIS IS OUR WORLD HERE TODAY
lets' you and me make it our way

I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT AND COMPETE
there is no joy in watching defeat.

TODAY I STAND UP AND DO DECLARE
if you dont have enough im willing to share

I WON'T WATCH ANYONE SUFFER
we must always help one another

IF WE ALL HAD eACH OTHER'S BACK
and just cut each other a little more slack

LeARN TO BE A TEAM PLAYER
you can answer someone's prayer

CHANGE CAN HAPPEN ONE STEP AT A TIME
it doesn't have to be a crime!

THE REVOLUTION STARTS WITHIN
evoLution will fix this thing!

LOOK INWARDS TO FIND THE WAY OUT
the anwsers you seek will come without doubt.

I AM YOU AND YOU ARE ME
I can see no difference past this body
