Hello
Life is not fair for many, it is bad.
I ate roasted chestnuts at the stake, very tasty.

Oooh - I had not thought of putting them on a bamboo stake-stick. Clever. And yes, easy to roast that way.

At the stake?

they are tasty. I have eaten a nice Spanish soup with chestnuts and chorizo and smoked paprika.

In Indonesia now its difficult season to harvesting so it would be difficult income.

Oh the nuts looks great. I never eat them befor

You van make art out of it or keep the woodstove burning with it.

Everywhere men beat up women or people fight. Not only in villages. Through the walls of an appartment or a villa you can hear it too. People prefer to stay blind and deaf find it normal.

Let that guy find a job, work hard like a man should do and beat him up...that will teach him some respect.

No respect for all those watchers, they are all guilty of the same crime.

We focus on constructive solutions as best we can - giving her the means to support herself and her child so SHE can make decisions. Domestic violence is NEVER ok but also far more complex than most people appreciated. The man needs not to be "beaten and taught respect" but understood also and shown how to channel feelings of profound isolation and frustration. She will leave when she is empowered.

It must be chestnut season! One of my EAL girls (Hong Kong) came in with a bag the other day. 'What are you eating, Avril?' I ask (because I'm not the kind of teacher that says: 'don't eat in class'!!) and it was a big bag of chestnuts. She was waxing lyrical about them - she'd been in Melbourne city and there was a woman selling chestnuts and she was sooooo excited and the woman realised that and gave her extra. It reminded her of home. Bless.

Chestnut season is just starting here in Northern Thailand an yes, they're all over Southern China. NOT that Hong Kong is vaguely part of China LOL.... They're delish and pivotal in so much Cantonese cuisine. GLORIOUS huge trees!!
