You use your own seeds? That is OK....just don't tell anyone!

Well, as far as this topic is concerned, I know very well that people who specialize in biodynamics throughout the territory of Eastern Europe are particularly concerned about this and in the expectation of 'preparedness'. I managed to find this in two or three meetings of the Biodynamic Management Society where I was present in the last two years.

For a long time banks of seeds have been created, which could even become unlawful at some hypothetical moment. But unlawful for whom? What is certain is that the EU is blaming the agriculture without mercy. Even with the fairy tale of massive subsidies to the farm, they often praise or wish to spread lies to Europeans (but they won't tell you what are concrete results on the ground - not even by mistake). The eastern members of the Union (Poland, the Czech Republic, and partly Hungary) started to rely fairly on their own path (protecting their indigenous crops and their farms) and protecting them through new legislation against the flood of products of 'suspicious origin' - which are often in the hands of corporations. Those products come a bit from all over the world to their markets - as soon as they have come across (this year) to their first problems and sanctions from the EU tops.

Want to learn something about Biodynamics?

None of the secondary schools or universities has education for biological and dynamic management. That is why, ten years ago, the demeter union of Switzerland introduced its education, which the state recognizes. Training is connected with practical work and is carried out by part-farmers themselves, and partly in the Bio-School in Fric. During the schooling, pupils also replace up to 20 farms involved in education and learn about various soil qualities and various orientations. Read more at http://www.ausbildung-biodyn.ch

In Germany you can attend Biodynamics Lake Constance Theory and practice - one year schooling

This sounds pretty interesting actually. The modified seeds most big companies are spreading produce sterile fruits, so they're a real no-go for long-term sustainability.

Of course, that's no accident.

Great post!

Right. That is like you would have your child, who is used to sterile surroundings. And what happens when that kind of child gets a flu? Instead of one week, he needs more than a month to get better. This is the same thing. And with modified seeds they are also killing the other smaller animals like bees (when the plant grows up). And the harvest is carcinogenic. So there is a lot of reasons, not to buy modified seeds or modified vegetables, fruits.....

You bring up lots of serious points.

Natural is the way. :)

I take blogging as kind of activism. Yes, natural was, is and will be the way. The best way to get seeds is by someone you know very well (who does not have to lie to sell something just to get by).
