INCREDIBLE average weekly growth of 1.5%!

Welcome to the 48^th weekly installment of my series on Steem income and growth!

Income on the Steem blockchain is generated by "investment" (the more currency you have, the more you earn) and by "work" (earning currency by contributing content that adds value). All my crypto holdings are in the Steem currency. Now I'm working to earn more, by uploading unique valuable content to the blockchain.

Calculating weekly income

Considering income from accounts that I own, that my wife owns, and group projects using our funds (currently @drutter, @medikatie, @greatesteem, @hempy, @girlsofgreen, @vantocan, & @sativazeee), here's the running tally:

For the first time in the year I've been recording data, my average weekly income (growth) is holding steady above 1%!

My team's output and quality level have remained steadily high - that doesn't account for the recent rise. I'm actually not entirely sure what's happening, but perhaps it's a variety of smaller factors contributing to our success. Maybe the 20 months of nonstop content-creation for this blockchain is starting to pay off.

Not that 19 Steem ($6 USD) per week is enough to do anything with, and we have yet to prove we can maintain this pace longer than 10 weeks.

But 1.5% weekly is a powerful growth tool. If we could keep it up another year and a half, we'll be over 5000 SP (dolphin).

Or we could grow at 1.5% weekly for another few months, then begin withdrawing 20 Steem per week. This would allow a further 7 Steem per week to grow the account, at a modest 0.5% weekly rate.

Perhaps by then, that 20 Steem weekly will be worth $50 USD, enough to save up for a new camera.

It hasn't happened yet, but it appears attainable.

I'm normally okay with delayed gratification, but come on! Not many people will invest $5k and then work 2 years for free, with only a handful of magical cyber tokens to show for it!

The dream outcome

I doesn't hurt much to dream, and sometimes it's the start of amazing things.

What if we're able to maintain this week's growth pace (1.6%) for the next 10 months, at which point the crypto market is in full recovery, and Steem has returned to its previous $8 high?

That would be 45 Steem coming in per week. We could take 30 Steem ($240 USD) for upgrades and profit, leaving 15 Steem per week for a growth of 0.5%.

Maybe what happens will be somewhere in the middle of those two scenarios? In one, we continue as we have been until summer, then begin to pull off enough profit to get a new camera. In the other, we'll be pulling out a grand every month by Christmas. Let's not worry about worst case scenario, and end on a high note!
