While still operating, PT Arun NGL supported the community economy in various fields. In the economic field, PT Arun NGL also supports micro-financing through PT Syariah Islamic Financing Bank (BPRS) Rahmah Hijrah Agung.

Since 11 November 2011, BPRS Rahmah Hijrah Agung opened a new headquarters in Lhokseumawe which was inaugurated by the Deputy Mayor of Lhokseumawe Suaidi Yahya (now the mayor of Lhokseumawe). The goal is to make it easier for people to get services, as well as a form of commitment to help micro-entrepreneurs.

The BPRS was formed through the 1996 Arun NGL Community Development (CD) program which was headquartered at that time in Matang Geulumpang Dua, Bireuen. Despite being only 15 years old, the BPRS has helped fund as many as 1,200 to micro businesses in five districts / cities, namely North Aceh, East Aceh, Bireuen, Bener Meriah, Lhokseumawe and Bireuen. In addition, the SRB now has as many as 15,000 customers.

The Director of BPRS RHA, Muhammad Nur SH, said that until now the BPRS has three offices, namely in Matang Geulumpang Dua (Bireuen), Batuphat, and Lhokseumawe. Therefore, he hopes to all parties to fully support the BPRS in an effort to help the community, so they can develop and improve the welfare of the community.

"Our target is micro-entrepreneurs, because so far micro entrepreneurs have not been touched by commercial banks. Of the approximately 14 billion financing funds, the majority are lower middle class people that we help," says Muhammad Nur who is also the Chairperson of DPC Perbarindo Lhokseumawe. []

Dukungan PT Arun NGL untuk Usaha Mikro

Semasa masih beroperasi, PT Arun NGL mendukung perekonomian masyarakat dalam berbagai bidang. Dalam bidang ekonomi, PT Arun NGL ikut mendukung pembiayaan udaha mikro melalui PT Bank Pembiayaan Rakyat Syariah (BPRS) Rahmah Hijrah Agung.

Sejak 11 November 2011, BPRS Rahmah Hijrah Agung membuka kantor pusat baru di Lhokseumawe yang diresmikan Wakil Wali Kota Lhokseumawe Suaidi Yahya. Tujuannya untuk memudahkan masyarakat mendapat pelayanan, juga sebagai bentuk komitmen untuk membantu pelaku usaha mikro.

BPRS dibentuk melalui program Community Development (CD) PT Arun NGL tahun 1996 yang berkantor pusat saat itu di Matang Geulumpang Dua, Bireuen. Kendati usia baru 15 tahun, BPRS telah membantu pembiayaan sebanyak 1.200 kepada pelaku usaha mikro yang tersebar di lima kabupaten/kota, yaitu Aceh Utara, Aceh Timur, Bireuen, Bener Meriah, Lhokseumawe dan Bireuen. Selain itu, BPRS kini telah memiliki sebanyak 15.000 nasabah.

Direktur Utama BPRS RHA, Muhammad Nur SH, menyebutkan hingga kini BPRS telah memiliki tiga kantor, yaitu di Matang Geulumpang Dua (Bireuen), Batuphat, dan Lhokseumawe. Karena itu pihaknya berharap kepada semua pihak untuk mendukung sepenuhnya BPRS dalam upaya membantu masyarakat, supaya bisa berkembang dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

“Sasaran kita adalah pelaku usaha mikro, karena selama ini para pelaku usaha mikro tidak tersentuh oleh bank umum. Dari sekitar 14 miliar dana pembiyaan, mayoritas adalah masyarakat menengah ke bawah yang kita bantu,” tandas Muhammad Nur yang juga Ketua DPC Perbarindo Lhokseumawe. []
