Plastics in general has become a nuisance to our planet and those thin plastic bags we use when we buy just about anything these days. Problem arises since the molecular structure lasts for decades after it has been used filling dumpsites all over the globe. So most large cities are banning them and they are being replaced by more ecologically sound products.

try to avoid it, i have a little backpack i use to go to the store and mostly i acutally order a months or more supply to be delivered home instead of going there and standing in line waiting myself , i hate that
delivery is free from €150 so its really a win-win
most shops charge for plastic bags these days btw and a lot have their own "brand" of re-usable you can pay a one-time fee for (it has their logo on it ofcourse)
but still then , everythings wrapped in plastic and for a few years now if you buy a pack of cookies you get it wrapped in plastic, then you open it up and your cookies are in a plastic holder and THEN each single one is wrapped separately ... its pretty weird that the enlightened lords of mordor will pass laws on sharing fotos and internet filters and spend many meetings to decide wether you have the right to listen to an mp3 on a plane flying over france if you bought it in germany
but they dont really do anything about this packaging craze ... it could be pretty simple
just ban disposable packaging, after the initial industry riot things would be a lot better
i guess they dont get lobbied for that :p

I have lower down my habit to use plastic bags. But still I am using it. Will try definitely to make it zero
The amounts of plastic bags you get here are ridiculous and they are all so thin that you barely can transport your good home in them so not much recycling there, I do however try my best to avoid them at all. Even made a post about it.

No, I always use cotton bags, that i can use multiple times. I always try to use as little plastic as possible so the Planet Earth can be cleaner.
