ECLIPSE PHOTO
We had some decent viewing here in Wisconsin where the eclipse was to be around 80%.
We looked through the glasses, which was very cool, the crescent shape was very distinct!
We used the box style, and could make out the shape although not as crisply as the glasses.
Then the clouds came and I got this photo of the eclipse.
Not much to write home about there.
The problem was it was impossible to get a good photo through the glasses, or I would be posting it now.

It was fun experiencing it with a group of people and it looked very cool through the glasses.
Yeah, the glasses were the ticket. To bad we couldn't photograph thru them.

Here in Venezuela I could observe it yesterday afternoon, it was wonderful, after the eclipse a few hours later there was a huge storm for 2 hours and as I live in a mountainous area unfortunately brought many sequels, such as landslides and some Houses in the mountains fell, thanks to God n were injured or victims ..
I have much respect for you doctors. Especially during crisis situations.

Wow! The clouds made it an even better picture! I just posted about our totality eclipse experience in Tennessee. Heard it's coming back to the US in 2024...maybe will be totality for you then. Thanks for sharing!

The photo is kinda nice, but not much eclipse in it.
Hee Hee - I saw it very well, thru the glasses. But this is the PHOTO thru the glasses.
Still you were able to experience history
