RE: Solar Eclipse 2017: Preparation Tips and More Details
Tomorrow's the eclipse :)
Have fun watching tomorrow, whether you're in the totality path or if you're seeing the partial! Remember that if you try to see it without proper eclipse glasses, you'll literally burn your eyes.
Why?
Think about it like this: your retina (the outer part of your eye) is actually like a lens, in that it takes light in and concentrates it onto the back of your eye.
When you do this with super intense eclipse sunlight, the concentration will be so hot and bright it could literally burn a hole in the back of your eye.
So when the stakes are this high, it's crucial that you get proper eclipse glasses that are safe for solar viewing.
