Fitzcarraldo was a Werner Hertzog film about a man who had a dream to build an opera house in the Amazon jungle. Maybe not a direct correlate to your situation but your undertaking does appear to be quite inspirational!
ahaaa! lol.. it Does sound kind of similar!! i mean i am in the jungle.. and the acoustics of Earthship Karuna are pretty amazing for Opera! ;_)
