Learn to listen to your body, even in modern suburbia
"If you learn to listen to your body when it whispers, you won't have to hear it scream."
This quote aptly sums up the importance of listening to your body. It isn't always easy, though. Sometimes you're not tuned to receive its messages and other times you point blank need to postpone the symptoms of being unwell. Be careful and be honest with yourself when you choose to postpone your illness by treating it with allopathic medication. Allopathic treatment only addresses your symptoms, often stifling the body's natural self healing abilities.
Here are some of the most important symptoms you should pay attention to before they become serious.
- Headaches
Headaches have various causes, as we all know there are different types of headaches. Often, headaches are linked to the liver and they are also directly correlated with hydration. Being that the liver is also one of the main organs in charge of detoxing, it's important to remember that many headaches are simply a sign that your body needs to offload some of the toxins that have accumulated within. Headaches can also be a sign of more serious illnesses, but you're given a clean bill of health (other than the pounding, of course), you can assume your body needs the chance to clean itself out. Avoid painkillers and help this process by drinking water with a dash of lemon first thing in the morning. Golden milk made with turmeric for inflammation last thing before bed may also help.
- Overwhelming tiredness
Chronic fatigue is part of the package that comes with living in these times. Our bodies and our minds were not made to live such fast paced lives in these unnatural environments. We've pushed ourselves to live beyond D the rate at which our bodies are able to regenerate and repair, so we're always tired. If you battle with overwhelming fatigue, it's good to get it checked out. You could have an iron defiency, anemia, an under active thyroid, diabetes, kidney problems to name but a few. Most of these conditions are treatable either through good diet or medication. Homeopathic doctors are wonderful and will order all the same diagnostic blood tests a GP would order.
- Panic, anxiety, lasting bouts of fear
Another sign of the times. If you're frequently anxious, don't be too quick to diagnose yourself with mental health problems. There's a wonderful quote: "tis no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society". Maybe there's nothing wrong with you. Maybe you weren't created to function in this artificial man made version of life. This constant daily grind. We live in a society that is governed by fear. Go to school or you'll be dumb. Finish school or you won't get into college. Without a degree you won't warn money. If you don't have money you can't live. Take out life insurance in case you die. Take out medical insurance in case you get sick. Everything you do in life is to avoid a fearful reality from happening to you. Are you surprised your body occasionally reaches overload levels and panic attacks ensue? The best way to counter these sensations is to get away from the stimuli as often as possible. Get into nature as often as possible, where it's quiet. Try earthing each day: walking on the bare ground with your feet for 30 minutes to ground yourself.
The most important gift you can give yourself is to set a life goal. Picture life as want it. Map out the steps from where you are at to where you want to be and honour them by aiming to make progress. You owe yourself a happy life.
The New Earth Nation aims to provide an alternative way of life to humanity. We are all equal and we should have the power to heal our bodies rather than suppressing the symptoms of illness. We should awaken each day and live without fear of what is waiting around the corner. Our food should be grown for your bodies and not for profit.

I had to resteem this!!
I love your outlook on panic disorder and anxiety. I have been a social worker for 10 years. For a long time I've been told that I have panic disorder and anxiety. I have been treated with medication, and it still doesn't work. They try to make me increase the amount of medication that I take, but the side effects are so horrible. You are right that our bodies aren't meant to move at this pace, and take on all of this trauma.
Man, now I'm not even sure if I want to take medication anymore.
