It is very peaceful living in the forest, my retreat from the craziness of the world! It saddens me to see our wonderful resource being de-pleated and I find our home plot is becoming more of an oasis than just a small portion of a large forest land mass. With that broken smaller areas of forest instead of large ranges of forest land, we are losing the habitats of many animals that need these larger continuous forested lands to move through for their food and shelter, like the caribou.
