The Dubai government is considered strongly pro-Blockchain. The dubai government sees it as the next major wave of paradigm changing technologies, and wants to be forward-thinking in adoption.
India announced the launch of Lakshmi as the initiative couple of days back and within few weeks dubai announced mcash.
This shows the importance of blockchain based products in government.
