بچوں کی دعا
ڈاکٹر علامہ محمد اقبال برصغیر پاک و ہند کے عظیم شاعر گزرے ہیں ۔آپ نے اپنی شاعری سے لوگوں کو خواب غفلت سے جگایا۔آپ مفکر پاکستان کے نام سے جانے جاتے ہیں۔آپ کی شاعری مسلمانوں کے لئے اثر انگیز اور بے مثل تھی۔آج میں آپ کے ساتھ علامہ محمد اقبال کی بہت ہی پیاری شاعری بچوں کی دعا آپ کے ساتھ شیر کر رہا ہوں اس دعا کی خاصیت یہ بھی ہے کہ اس دعا کو روزانہ سکول کے بچے مارننگ اسمبلی میں پڑہتے ہیں۔

لب پے آتی ہے دعا بن کے تمنا میری زندگی شمع کی صورت ہو خدایا میری
دور دنیا کا میرے دم سے اندھیرہ ہو جا ئے ہرجگہ میرےچمکنےسے اجالا ہو جائے
ہو میرے دم سے یوں ہی میرے وطن کی زینت جس طرح پھول سے ہوتی ہے چمن کی زینت
زندگی ہو میری پروانے کی صورت یا رب علم کی شمع سے ہو مجھ کو محبت یا رب
ہو میرا کام غریبوں کی حمایت کرنا دردمندوں سے ضعیفوں سے محبت کرنا
میرے اللہ برائی سے بچانا مجھ کو نیک جو رہ ہے اس رہ پے چلانہ مجھ کو
