I’m extremely disappointed Seeing no comments on Dtube contents and let alone no response to comments on your own dtube content.
Dlive Exit tought me lot because I contributed so much for dlive and I’m here now contributing to Dtube and I’m dedicating my full energy here with Dtube!
If you don’t reinvent your Dtube journey then I’ve the capacity to bring 1000’s new people to Dtube. So you better change your strategies and contribute something to Dtube growth!

I don't post videos, but I also don't click on posts that have videos to display unless they have a YouTube link. I have never been able to watch a dtube video. And when I've asked about it most all of my friends have said they can't watch them either. There are enough other things here to view and vote on that I haven't wasted any more time with it. If it was easy, I might take a look.

Nothing wrong with watching YouTube.
Using bitcoin wasn’t easy few years ago let alone exchanging to fiat money. As the Bitcoin ecosystem developed and using and exchanging bitcoin becomes easier and easier, and Bitcoin become more valuable.
Same goes to Dtube and it’ll evolve.

I have tried and tried! Following snooks directions I go to dtube and it shows that I am already logged in. I don't care if I am able to upload a video. I just would like to be able to watch the videos that my friends have posted, but when I am in Steemit or eSteem and click on their links I get nothing.
log out and log back in with your steemit key......Steemconnect has not worked right since HF 20........

It could be the browser you're using too. For whatever reason, some browsers don't play dtube videos. Perhaps you can try opening the link in incognito, or Chrome. Those have worked out for me. Hope it helps!
I do use Chrome on both of my devices. Thanks for that suggestion, though!
I upvote and reply to every comment on my post, sometimes it takes me a day to reply but I feel everyone should at least reply to their comments. Interaction is important and one of the reasons I love Smoke. I feel it’s the overall mindset here that’s hurting steemit but I hope it changes over time. I feel diversity in content support is just as important as engaging for the future of Steemit. Awesome video !

I feel the major issue is nobody to consume and curate content. Only select niches get major support and the system is very limited at getting your content infront of people consuming content. I feel this is a big issue that must be fixed for dtube or steemit to have a real future in the content creation field. I’ve got recent synthesizer videos that have 10,000 views in a week on You Tube with 100+ comments. Same videos got limited support and 1 comment in Dtube/Steemit. I’m not trying to cry about my payouts but trying to say that will push many established content creators away if that’s not fixed. I myself adapted by just releasing “ dtube friendly “ content every few days but I feel that’s something not all content creators will want to do. I’ve got huge faith this will all pan out in the end, Stay safe my friend !
Totally agree here! It’s hard work in these early days. How do we find and send consumers and curators here not just creators? Do we reward them more maybe?

I am going to comment here. Yes, there needs to be more interaction within the community. Sometimes people are either busy or shy, but personally I will always comment if I like a video.

That's why I'm trying day by day to become more active & engaged with the community
In order to get there, I've installed various mobile apps so I can comment from there while I am on the go (mostly of my days I am out)
So yeah, I'll do my best to upgrade it to a whole new level, I know the Youniverse will return :)
And by the way, the fact that people are not using resteem after HF20 is worrying, something to do with EGO?

While I agree with your intent, I disagree that the issue is the content creators. We sometimes work 2 days to make a video and half the comments we do get are about the video not playing or dead silence. Without a view counter I don't even know if people didn't like the video or if they couldn't watch it. So please tell me; what would motivate me to travel to a place, set up before everyone gets there, tear down 6 hours later, spend 5 hours reviewing video footage and sound recordings, editing 2 camera footage and 2 sound tracks and get no views? DTube is half the problem when they give some low effort video of a girl in her underwear packing a suitcase with no sound, no intro or outhrow a $210 up vote in a single vote. To me it's obvious they prefer garbage video and quite frankly, I'm not here to compete with DTube's up votes, I want my work to be seen and rise on it's own merit and this isn't happening. If we want great content on DTube, we have to support it, but I can't support what I can't watch/find and I'm sick of all the cheerleaders telling me how great DTube is. Please keep in mind that I only waste my time criticizing the things I like, I don't bother with the things I don't like. Greetings!

Please Nathan how do you think i can solve uploading errors when trying to upload on dtube?
My advice @josediccus is :
1)Log in to Dtube with your STEEM NAME and with your POSTING KEY(wallet-->permissions-->show private key).I also want to add that I am using Opera borwser but I don't know if it's got anything to do with that.
2)Upload a snap while you are uploading the video
3)Never write tags with caps lock
I hope that helps you solve your problems man,that's what I've been doing and don't have a problem with my uploads.

@josediccus I am on windows, using chrome, not opera.
But other than that I use the exact same technique as my bro @knowhow92
I used to upload with the STEEMCONNECT login, but I get errors like that now, so I log in with the standard DTube log in and have had success that way for the past 2 weeks.
