DtubeSnap #01 -Mornings with Little Mali
Hellooooooooooooo Dtube!!
Finally, we are setting up our very first #Dtubesnap Video! Yaaaaayyyyyy! This is all because of the constant and persistent demand of my crazy sister @twodorks! hahahaha there it is! happy now??
Honestly, I am not really a fan in making videos of me and me talking, I am very Camera shy. I dont have that much confidence in front of the camera, I can do snaphots, but videoing is another story.
However, reading the inspiring posts of @nathanmars on how great DTUBE is! I was fairly convinced a bit. He is right, if more people join in and contribute to the growth of DTUBE, there is a bright future ahead. His #Dtubesnap only takes a minute of our time and that is enough already. Sooooo, I said to myself (like a 100s over! hahahahah)... I could make my small share and join in the fun.. one minute is not that long enough.. we can do it!! Thank you goog Sir @nathanmars for the great support to DTUBE!
Sooooo here it is! Our first #Dtubensnap 01, starring my Little Mali. He is always an early riser, our constannt alarm clock even on weekends! He would always want to get out and see the world. He loves getting is Vitamins Sunshine, if not he would throw his wild tantrums, and we do not want a grumpy baby all day!

Welcome to DTube! I think once you get the hang of things you will fall in love with it like I did!
So I can relate with you deeply, I started on DTube as a challenge for myself to be able to create the same type of videos I wish to consume. I still struggle with being on camera, ask @vincy that never really goes away but we learn to adapt. I have learned to be fairly confident over time though I still stumble over my words, multiple takes and some editing can work anything out.
I think micro vlogging(#DTubeSnap) will fit you well, from your writing style as vincy pointed out to me your quite bubbley and spirited and that will shine on camera. Even if you are shooting your son (very inquisitive munchkin you have there) and just talking from behind the camera you will start to become more confident, use it as a stepping stone and build your ability to share your thoughts or just convey a message it is a whole different skill set then writing.
Suggestions:
Obviously you already have a following and having a face to connect your creations to brings in a much more personal factor, people will feel as if your talking to them directly.
For a first video, well done stepping outside your comfort zone 👍 that is what my journey has been about since day one!

Thank you also for understanding how difficult it is to be doing the video for the first time. And yes i guess it is the first step into something great. I do hope I could get all those confidence you are talking in the long run. I still am not quite comfortable doing videos, I wish it was as easy writing it down as it is saying it loud.. hehe
I am soooooooo much grateful for all the tips in making great videos. I will surely keep those things in mind in my future videos. I do want to keep making more, I want to be active in Dtube and contribute its growth even just a little.

Hi little Mali, so adorable. Great job on stepping out of your comfort zone by doing your first one. I started my first video recording my son too, but that was upon his request. Then took more courage to video myself and now I am having fun.
The camera will love you. You try dtubesnap #2. If shy wear a mask first. You will get used to it in no time.

I dont know how you guys do it.. i envy you how cute and natural you all are!.. my first born is a little bit shy but I know he wants it too, i will just have to push him a little bit too.. arrrggghhh! Yes I would like to keep his baby hair for a longer while. Do you know @twodorks? His son has kept his baby hair for almost 2 years now! We had the inspiration from him.. hehe
