If you're single and you're making a decent amount of money, living in a goshiwon is your best bet starting off. Being a digital nomad has its benefits in a foreign country and South Korea is one of the best places to do so.
I did this last year but I didn't have any steady work outside of Twitch and YouTube!
This year, i've gotten smarter about doing this. I have two streams of income (currently working on getting more) and this works out great for me!

Need no commitment other than just pay your damn bills.
No commitment. If you are a US citizen, your visa is good for three months. Six months of you're Canadian.
