RE: When Is The Right Time To Quit Your Job? 🤔 | Vlog #101
Yeah brother, if you go full time now then you have to live very minimalistic man...for sure and yes, we all have expenses and especially when you have lived having everything and all of a sudden you to cut that and that and that...it will be painful, but then again I would ask myself if this is really the value you want to give to the world? If you follow your passion then the money will come, but it will be a question of a matter of time. Some passion you can follow, but it will be damn hard and some not. All of the artistic things such as filmmaking, acting, music, will be difficult to make a good living off of. But if it really means a lot to you then you would do it. Again, it will depend on the personality of the individual as well. But, for me (and trust me that I have asked a looooooooot of people concerning this topic) I have found out that if I died someday, would I be happy working something where I make money enough for myself? or follow my passion and giving to the world my real value? Now, obviously, if dtube wouldn't have existed, things would have looked a bit differently for me because I would have had to get a job (or else I wouldn't live :D), but since dtube exists and I'm able to give my value to the world and earning as well...that is something really valuable! Yes, it's not a lot of money, but I realized that I would feel bad working something else just for the money...that's a waste of time for me. However, if someday, dtube doesn't exist anymore and the whole thing breaks down and I don't get upvotes anymore or something just bad happens, I will have to find a job, but I will still be happy knowing that I have followed my passion and have given my part and value to the world. My value. We are born to do something on this planet. Yes, we all need money...I can't deny that...but I consider this as "expanding my creativity" so it's a win win for me. It's an opportunity. It's a gift. You can call it whatever you like, but it's something fascinating. So, it all boils down to the individual and personality and happiness :)
Winny out...for now ;)
PS: Remember that it's all YOUR fault Lao Tzu
It was a beautiful paragraph until the ending quote haha. By working you are contributing to the world. If everyone followed their passions, no one would want to come fix your internet problems or clean toilets or make shitty food at restaurants. We need the balance
Yes, we need the balance that's true, but the question is if they were they were presented with that opportunity? How were they raised? What do THEY want in life? I don't think that everyone will follow their passion because like I have mentioned...we are individuals with unique thoughts and perceptions. And thank god! It's like that.
Winny out...for now ;)
