That is truly the only approach that works in many scenarios. There are many cases where life is incredibly difficult and painful, but if you view them as growing pains...it gives purpose to the suffering.
Very true what you're talking about. I would like to add: don't get too cought up in viewing life as a challenge either, because then we'll feel a constant urge to grow and might get addicted to the feeling. Life is there to live and experience all shades of it!!
