DTube NIGHT MODE (DARK THEME) Has Been Updated - Enjoy DTube's New Features Without Eye Strain!
Dtube - the distributed version of Youtube for Steemit has been updated - so I took some time today to update my theme for Dtube that makes gives it a darker appearance that helps when watching videos, especially in the evening and at night.
How to Update
If you already have the theme installed, then just visit the list of Stylish themes in your browser by clicking 'Manage Styles' from the Stylish Button's Dropdown menu.. Then click the cog symbol and choose 'Update Themes'.
Alternatively you can visit the page for this theme at Userstyles.org and click 'Update' there.
How to Install
We are going to use the browser plugin and service called 'Stylish'.
Install the browser plugin called 'Stylish' in your web browser by searching inside your web browser's add-on area. Firefox and chrome both have areas that you can use to add extensions/add-ons and you can find the area in the browser's main menu.
Visit d.tube and click on the button for Stylish that has been added to your browser's list of extension icons (usually top-right of the browser). Choose 'Find styles for this site' and you will then see a list of available themes you can use to change the appearance of Steemit.
Choose the 'DTube - Darker Theme For Tired Eyes & Night Owls' theme available here
Click to install the theme.
Once installed, you will find that D.tube is now magically being shown with the new red theme visible.

Thanks - yes, @heimindanger asked if he could include an earlier version of the style into DTube at some point. I just asked for a credit somewhere in return. Now though, I am running a witness server and a much better way to return the favour is a witness vote for me. I would really like if you would point the team to my witness thread - thanks!.

Nice features but i think not many people will be willing to go through all that to get this feature on.
It will be more interesting if DTube team can code this theme into the main site so all users see this once they just visit https://d.tube
It's not so tough to get a Stylish theme installed, but yeah, I think this will be integrated into DTube at some point.
