Am I the only one experiencing problems in DTube...?
Hello there, everyone!
I'm experiencing some technical difficulties and maybe some of you can help me with that.

What happens is that I haven't been able to play the majority of #DTube Videos. This started happening a little over a month ago... and since I don't have the best Internet Connection in the World, I thought that could be the source of the problem.
However, my Internet was upgraded from 4 MBit to 12 MBit and I think this should be more than enough to watch #DTube Videos.
Well, I'm afraid the problem remains.

The videos will load 2 or 3 seconds at a time, then freeze for 30 seconds or a minute... play another second or two, and then freeze again.
This makes it totally impossible for me to watch anything on #DTube...

Meanwhile, I have been bookmarking several videos in #eSteem in the hope I could get back to them later and now I realise that I won't ever be able to catch up, as my bookmark list is getting way too big.

I don't understand what the problem is, since now I can watch videos in YouTube with the highest quality, which means my Internet Connection should easily be able to cope with #DTube as well.
Am I the only one unable to watch #DTube Videos? What can I do to make it work?

I stopped trying to use dtube
I have seen a lot of people going through the same experience, and I am not sure why.
No clear solution is being provided. I also went through the same thing a couple of times but I have been fortunate so far. I have also noticed that partiko plays them very well. Whenever dtube wouldnt play something I would just watch it through partiko
I can't use the dtube website at all, as the Australian government has asked all our isp's to block it.
Can still watch through other front ends like Partiko.
No freedom of speech here in Australia anymore.

That's crazy! I can't believe the Australian government would block dtube. People need to sand up and fight against stuff like this. Did they even give a reason to why it was blocked?
A number of site's were blocked after the Christchurch (New Zealand) terrorist attack. All the site's had footage from the attack uploaded on to them. Dozens of site's blocked.

That knee jerk reaction only proves they have something to hide. 😮
Either something to hide, or just opportunistically taking advantage of what was a terrible thing.

worsed of all they still have not replaced the asksteem searchengine on dtube despite it being down for ages. gotta put some google or duckduckgo bar in there.
