Movies are a great prediction of the future. No dought a point of singularity will occur sometimes in the future, where robots are smarter and stronger than humans. But, humans are resilient, we will incorporate artificial intelligence into our own body and will mutate and adapt.
I do hope you're right, I just see humans not think about what they are creating and it worries me the level of consciousness AI is being created from. We are hardly a benevolant race!
simple answer, yes. as [AI is] being part of technology (which advances exponentially), the threats of it are obviously increasing proportionally/equally!

Yes, it worries me -- that there is a general disconnect from nature. I think it's important to maintain that balance of who we are/where we came from and technology. Technology has its place if used ethically but we know that it isn't always. So, it's a little scary and worrisome.
Yes and like I say especially watching kids growing up addicted to it

Hopefully we keep the remotes.. So we can at least be in control. haha
