Movies are a great prediction of the future. No dought a point of singularity will occur sometimes in the future, where robots are smarter and stronger than humans. But, humans are resilient, we will incorporate artificial intelligence into our own body and will mutate and adapt.
I do hope you're right, I just see humans not think about what they are creating and it worries me the level of consciousness AI is being created from. We are hardly a benevolant race!
