How Dtube is helping my Mental Health! (Daily Vlog #14)
Hey guys! It's a late one for me this Sunday, but the daily vlog is here!
Today I talk about something very important to me, mental health and why we should all be aware of it here on social media, especially those who chose to do it every day.
Check out @harshilpatel over at https://steemit.com/@harshilpatel for some excellent mindfulness tips and his latest post about mental health here:

And don't forget to send the awesome @kevinli some love!

The dream here for many of us is to use the site as a full time project and eventually live off Steem, but there's a lot to think about when it comes to balancing 'real' life with life here on this platform.
I personally think this platform has done wonders in helping me through anxiety issues by giving me a positive and creative outlet that I can focus on. It takes a lot of time and effort but in the long run, I honestly think it will lead to a more fulfilled and encouraging lif for myself and my family.
How do you manage your online time with the real world, do you think a lifestyle created by living on Steemit full time would be a lifestyle where you work away from family most of the time?
Leave me your thoughts below and always, always talk about mental health, we're here everyday on @dtube and #dtubedaily so get in touch!
I promise a much more positive topic tomorrow as I smash through my two week itch here on Dtube. Thanks for sticking around!

nice post dear as usual
Harshilpatel has great videos, I totally agree with you.
Finding the balance is really important in life. If we want to do this full-time then we also need to be able to plan it out. Mindfulness is really important in life, which has helped me a lot with my problems. I meditate every morning for 20 minutes and it has become a habit for me.
Winny out...for now ;)
PS: how long do you meditate?
Yeah it’s all about the planning, I haven’t had much time to plan but as I set myself a goal this year to become more organised, it’s a good time to start, especially with daily content. I’m loving your videos right now Winny!
I haven’t actually ever meditated, but I’ll be watching the videos you sent over to me and give it a shot!
Great post. Didnt even think about daily vloging like that!
Thank you! It’s still early days for me so I suppose it’ll get better and easier over time, but family always comes first so it’s trying to organise and plan around that which I’ve found more of a challenge.
I can understand you. You have to work very hard at the beginning, doing research, preparing your videos or articles, building up an audience and stay in contact with the community while managing your daily life and your job. I can already feel this after the first week here but I guess it will get easier with routine and when you have a solid audience. I can’t wait for the day when I can finally quit my job and stay on my own feet. That’s my dream. Keep up!
It’s my dream too! I honestly think it’ll get easier to keep up with once it becomes more routine, like you said. For now I’m trying to find styles and ideas that I can sort of enjoy creating as well as feel confident in sharing, I’m not there yet but with the community we are all creating and the dream we are sharing, it’s most definitely possible. Thanks for stopping by, I’ll catch up with you on discord when I get a moment! See if at the top my friend!
Hey @tim.clarke. Again a great post. Just recently I wanted to make a video about stress and depression and similar symptons which quite often are being awaken by social media, comments and literal nothingness on the news feed. We let ourselves go into this bubble of virtual reality loosing our feet from the ground. Music, nature and family usually heals good all these things as long as you let them into your comfort zone, yet I know that sometimes it can be hard. Keep up the food work sir!
It is not difficult to balance online and offline life... because online life kind of take a lot of time and specially on situations like your that You have a family of Your own it might be even more difficult. :( But soon You will find the balance and it looks like Your wife is there for You to support You on this stage that You might be more busy just try to get the initial push to lift for a better future to all of You.
In my case and my story it is too long and depressing to get it out there! How do I deal with that???? I found that the best way for me is to not deal with my depression stages. I just live them and when I am ready I close them inside of me until a new one come or an old one comeback to haunt me. It works in my case.
I probably will get to a point where I cant deal with all of this repressed Years and I will go crazy (like get me to the madhouse crazy) or even worst (but I don't even like to think of that scenarios)
If You ever need to talk... You know You can count on me! :P
Wow bro this really did hit me! I can understand one part of your anxiety as it’s linked with how Dtube, steemit and yourself will do in the future as we all feel the same but bro just keep on doing what you’re are doing as it is great content! 👍🏾
You are a beautiful soul, Tim. Thank you for this vlog.
Daily vlogging is so hard, it's easy at the start when ya have all these ideas but sooner or later those ideas will all be used and you have to constantly find new ideas for videos.
As I like to think, it's not about when things are going great that your character is shown. It's when shit hits the fan and how you react when everything is falling apart.
How a great day, bud. Don't forget if you're struggling for video ideas, just document what you're doing everyday 👊
Perspective! On point. 😉
