Sry to interrupt:
DTube did not split from steem. It is still operating on the steem blockchain and a video posted on DTube is also posted on steem. They just made a sidechain to supply their own independent coin and upvotes longer than 7 days.
So nothing to worry about - DTube is still usable and browsable for steemians :)
