Hey I commented to you on Dtube as well, but now that I found your video on Steemit I have to ask you: How did you get your video post to appear the way it did before Dtube split from Steemit?

DTube did not split from steem. It is still operating on the steem blockchain and a video posted on DTube is also posted on steem. They just made a sidechain to supply their own independent coin and upvotes longer than 7 days.
So nothing to worry about - DTube is still usable and browsable for steemians :)
