Long post but full of interesting information about the 5:2 diet. I use fasting as a tool every time my body starts to feel a little off. When I start to feel sluggish, I take the next day to fast. I allow myself 2 green juices and water. It really makes a BIG difference. This is also a VERY good way to keep from coming down with a cold. As soon as you start to feel the first symptoms, stop eating. It works every time. Good luck to you!
That’s so cool to hear your experiences with fasting! I had never thought of using it as a tool to protect against feeling sick.
It might be tough to get through the day with only 2 green juices, but I bet it’s totally worth it to get get that “re-set” feeling. I can’t believe how good my body feels after only 1 week!
