Haha, this dude needs to know who is the boss at the spot! I guess you can meet people like this almost everywhere, at least at big well-known surfing locations! My friends came back from Bali, they were complaining a lot about this! To get to a good spot, with very few people you have to swim few minutes!:) I am glad, this fellow didn't crash into you, what kind of magic power did you use with this movement to make him fall btw?:) Like give him a virtual energy slap that knocked him down:)
Hahaha, yeah watching the clip now it really seemed to happen magically. What you can also see is that the nose of his board nudges my back for a second and I almost fall down. I remember that this was the moment when I thought that I would kill him - maybe this was what made him drop then, LOL

Usually I don't have any problems at my spot. However, it's high season now (summer vacation of the local people), so I almost don't find a parking place close to the beach. Plus we don't have many waves and they are very little, so this attracts the newbies. Then it's a constant fight for waves, and when you catch one there will be surely another person trying to catch the very same one from the inside. I have given up on trying to teach them and prefer to paddle away to another break instead. Yesterday a girl with a longboard (experienced surfer) stole one of my waves - my face and comment afterwards is priceless!, haha (it'll be in my next vid) :-)

Love it--I grew up surfing in the Santa Cruz area with my brother. Someone trying to drop in behind you like that would have had a serious conversation with the locals. I thought it was great you just ignored him and then smiled back. Best way to handle it.
I always try to handle it like that. However if it happens repeatedly with the very same person I kindly ask them to stop doing it. Some are just newbies and still don't control, others have a big ego. So the ones with the big ego need to be educated sometimes 😄

Santa Cruz, CA. The water was cold but the waves were almost always great. My brother is pretty good, I was never that great, but I always enjoyed the water, the sun, and the fun.

The worst moment is when you stand in line at the supermarket's cash desk a couple of hours after a long surf session, then it's your turn, you look down on your purse in order to get some money out, and suddenly a waterfall rushes out of your nose. Then people look at you like: OMG, she must have a serious disease! LOL
I try to keep some water out, but sometimes the Ocean is faster than my hand haha 😄
Oh my wtf! I never had that happen to me, shit! Can you imagine it's been stuck in your head all that time.. Eek!
Also, I truly hate when my ears have water in them and they do not want to pop for hours. But oh boy the feeling when it finally does....... SO SATISFYING

It works fine for me. My first video took two days before I could view it, but others could view it within a matter of minutes. If you give it a few hours and check back I bet you'll be able to watch it. They're still working out the bugs but I think they'll have all that corrected soon.
