Topic of this Episode – Game of Thrones! (Part 1)

Whaaaa?? Yep - GoT has left a hole in all of our hearts and so the Steem Sisters are here to keep the dream alive a little longer. This week we are talking all about Game of Thrones! This first episode we are mainly focusing on sharing our thoughts from the final episode. Because there was honestly just so much to talk about - we decided to dedicate the whole show to it. In addition to sharing our thoughts on the episode, we also give an honest account of who we predicted would end up on the iron throne and why.

In part 2 we will dive into all sorts of other fun GoT related stuff, such as whose death surprised us the most , who our biggest crush was etc.

ps... @coolguy222 had asked about our predictions about the iron throne - so we are counting that as a question and will be sending you 2 steem!

What is the Steem Sister Show All About?

We aim to bring more “non-crypto” related content to the Steem Blockchain. Although there is nothing wrong with this kind of content (@coruscate even posts on crypto related material sometimes) – we want to help create a better onboarding experience for new users. We talk a lot about attracting new users to the platform – but if the trending page is filled with crypto posts and flagging wars, they are likely to lose interest quickly.

We hope that by creating content that is more similar to what they are used to seeing on other social media sites – they will feel more excited about being here and creating content of their own!

How Does It Work?

We pick a different theme every week, and then throw totally random questions about that topic in a hat and go back and forth. We always have a mix of our own questions and some audience questions. Our rule is that we cannot tell each other our answers before filming! So you guys are getting our raw, unfiltered reactions here.

Every episode we announce the next week’s topic so people can submit questions.

The Next Week's Topic: Sober Curiosity

You may have noticed more episodes lately where we are actually sipping on tea instead of wine. This is because Mary and I have both been focusing on trying to be healthier, more creative and more productive - and wondered how much that nightly glass (or two) of vino was impacting that.

We've both been taking some breaks from alcohol lately, and I even just read a book titled "Sober Curiosity". There doesn't seem to be much talk in our culture about this because so many social functions revolve around booze. It's been fun to question these social norms and see if it makes a difference.
