I wasn't if it's just me or if it happens to you where you'll crave for a spicy hot broth during a chilly winter. Alternatively, it's possible because of my Asian root kicks in where I crave for some of my grandma's cooking when I'm away.

While I was strolling around the Asian supermarket, I have come across some fresh ingredients that I thought it might come in handy to cook up some curry that I used to eat since I was young. With just some simple ingredients, you'll have some hot, spicy and delicious curry in no time.

Here's what you need;

Ingredients for 4 pax:

Curry Paste

• a handful of fresh red chilies
• a handful of dried red chilies
• 5 cloves of garlic
• 1 big red onion
• 3 candlenuts
• 2 stalks of lemongrass
• 2 bird's eye chili
• 2 packets of curry powder
• a handful of curry leaves

Vegetables

• 4 large potatoes
• 1 carrot
• 1 medium-size cabbage
• 2 egg plant
• a few stalks of long-beans
• 1 packet of tofu puff
