Apparently DTube is having some technical difficulties with this one at the moment, so here is the YouTube link too:
It includes some spectacular drone shots, HDR motion control time-lapse, Gopro, DSLR footage and a heartfelt poem written on the spur of the moment, to document the way I live my life now and a few very special days on the Gili Islands, just off the coast of Lombok, which is the next door island to Bali.
This is the poem I wrote for the film:
I feel a difference in the ether now, like the sun is looking at me.
An exchange is made between us, the reminder of a door:
As ancient as the Universe, a cycle for ever more.
You're only as old as you feel they say, so I am but a child.
Born into this world again connected to the wild.
Connected to a nameless force which guides and shows the way,
I am moving always along a path towards a better day.
For one and all I speak, as very few are free.
The modern world has many tricks but it has not tricked me.
The ability to manifest they do not teach in school.
The power of thought is everything, the greatest tool of all!
I have the things I want in life and I did’t have to pay.
I only had to focus on enjoying every day.
Three years ago I was imprisoned by walls I could not see
and the London life of 9-5 was slowly killing me.
The system of control is very well designed,
but when you look beyond it, only beauty you will find.
Don’t just take my word for it!
Let go of your fears and see how much your life can change for you,
just like it did for me.
I walk upon the earth each day no shoes upon my feet,
connected to the wisest mother I could ever hope to meet.
I stare into the sun at dawn drawing light into my eye;
the one that sits between the two that can only see the lie.
The colours of the rainbow I eat now every day.
No matter what you may have heard there is another way
To heal every illness & heal every mind
without the pills & potions and vaccines you will find
in a world deceived by profit,
the price we all must pay,
so look towards your perfect future like it’s in your hands today.
I have no riches to speak of, yet I have everything I need,
and I did this with the thought of now, planted as a seed.
I live the way I want to live and you can do the same,
but first you must observe yourself to rise above the game
that takes the mind away from now; the beauty of this day.
Know the peace within your soul and know it’s here to stay.

My family and I are eternally grateful for the freedom which Steemit has brought us, and the question of how we are going to travel the world endlessly has finally been answered!

In fact, it was so peaceful that I had to watch it twice.
Such beautiful scenery and what a beautiful, thought-provoking piece of poetry you wrote and read with it.
Makes me wish that I could take a break at such a beautiful place like that.
But I know that there is also much beauty where I live too, and I must just get out there and enjoy it more often.

We find beauty all around us when we actively seek it. Even in London, when my awakening begun, I found myself standing barefoot in parks around the city at sunrise, learning to manifest through sungazing and meditation. Never had I witnessed such beauty in the city I had spent my entire life in!

I've not visited Lombok. Though I understand it is not developing quite so fast as the Gilis.
Or Southern Bali! Which is intense now. Not much nature left down there.
