The Best Argument for Free Markets

in #dtube7 years ago (edited)

No system is perfect. No system "works perfectly". What would that even mean? The truth is that there is always going to be problems. People will always make mistakes and take wrong decisions.

Is that a justification for coercion? No! The initiation of force is immoral, regardless of its intent. If it weren't, anything would be permissible, including genocide, murder and World War.

This is a short clip from a Stefan Molyneux podcast from a couple of years ago. It's by far my favorite argument against socialism and central planning. If you like to read more about this topic, I wrote a post about it a long time ago. Read it here: The most powerful argument for libertarianism and anarchism.
