Thats a great post Adam. On the 23rd of October 2015 I went sugar free and that was a massive change for me. I think the thing I noticed as well was, as being someone who is into fitness and health, it's recommended we consume 600g to 700g of carbohydrates a day. I now see this is completely flawed and it also means that an athlete needs to consume a lot of refined carbs and sugar to get that much into your body.
It was a massive change and I am a lot healthier because of it.
Don't look back now and keep going.

Thanks Vince! It's actually really nice to get another athlete's opinion on it... I can't get over how many days it took to kick sugar out completely and stop feeling those insidious cravings. So many athletes drink so much Gatorade, or those running gels, or protein bars without realizing just how bad a lot of that stuff is for you. I used to work out with a mate who'd only consume two V energy drinks after a workout... I pretty much yelled at him every day, haha.
