D-Tube Wednesday: natural beauty of Cozumel Island, Mexico

Welcome to my D-Tube Wednesday series where I share my videos taken at interesting places that I have visited during my travels.
Today, I will take you to the Cozumel Island, Mexico.
Occupying a total area of just 647 sq km (250 sq mi), Cozumel is a little island found in the Caribbean Sea, just some 20 km (13 mi) off Playa del Carmen, one of the biggest cities on Riviera Maya on the Mexican mainland.
Don’t let the miniature size of the island fool you though. One of the most beautiful islands of Mexico, Cozumel has so much to offer - from scuba diving and snorkeling to ancient Mayan ruins, impressive architecture and abundant wildlife.
I was, of course, most interested in the natural sites of the island so I headed south to the Punta Sur Eco Beach Park, a protected natural area with beautiful white-sand beaches, lush tropical vegetation and diverse fauna. In fact, Cozumel is known to be home to several endemic animal species such the Cozumel Emerald, the Cozumel Fox, the Cozumel Coatior the iconic Cozumel Dwarf Raccoon.
I took this footage from the top of a lighthouse in the Punta Sur Eco Beach Park on the Cozumel Island, Mexico.
As you can see in the video, the lighthouse in the reserve offers some breathtaking views with swamps inhabited by crocodiles on one side of the road and the Caribbean Sea full of marine life on the other. Stunning combination conjured up by Mother Nature herself ;)

Všichni už jsou v Mexiku... Tohle mi nedělej ;) Hned bych vyrazil...
Ameriku i Evropu teď svírají tuhé mrazy, takže takováto videa a fotky nemůžete brát jinak než jako provokaci, je mi to jasné :D
To za prvé a za druhé se na starý kolena pouštím do rekonstrukce statku, který jsem pořídil, takže já teď asi už jen na maltu, ale s malým m ;)
Panejo, rekonstrukce statku - to zní jako plnění velkého snu! :) Tak ať u toho převažují pozitivní emoce a když vyjde čas, tak sem šoupni nějakou fotodokumentaci ;) Prozradíš lokalitu? Aspoň zhruba...
Hele plnění snu ani ne. Plánoval jsem spíš roubenku a někde jinde. Tohle tak nějak přinesl život ;) A je to v mojí "rodné" vesnici. Přesnou lokalitu teď psát nebudu, ale psali jsme si tu o pivech, tak nějak kraj asi odhadneš ;) Více kdyžtak přes chat ;)
Jasně, pamatuju ;) Jsme Češi, odkaz na pivo vždycky pomůže :D
Moc hezkej výhled a hlavně to sluníčo a teplo :-).
Díky moc. Ale tobě coby profíkovi musely z toho videa hrůzou stát vlasy na hlavě, ne? :D
Kdepak, když jsem se na to podíval, tak jsem si řek, tam bych teď chtěl bejt. Takže si myslím, že svůj účel video splnilo :-).
Tak to jsi mě potěšil :) Jak jsem psal v postu, video je rok staré, teď už se snažím s tím aspoň tak netřást :D
