Scrypto is a new social network for those interested in Crypto, from developers to those considering investing. One of the big features of Scrypto is the 'Communities' Feature, known as Spaces.
There is so much you can do in a Space. Let me just mention some of the features and options
- Admin/Moderator/member roles and abilities - There are multiple settings that you can control for different member levels in the community
- Modules - you can add Tasks, Polls, Wikis, Files and Calender's
- Custom pages - you can set up custom pages using Markdown, Iframe or a link
- Posting and Chat streem
This allows you fully customize a community into a fully fledged blog on your topic with a number of different revenue potentials. I mention one of these possible revenue streams in this video. I will talk further on this is a later video.
In this video you will be given a full walk through of the features available when setting up a community on Scrypto.
I mentioned in a previous post that Scrypto is not direct competition to Steemit. ( you can check out that post here https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@paulag/scrypto-is-not-direct-competition-to-steemit) I still very much stand by this statement. In fact I can see how it can easily compliment Steemit. And there is even talk that they might be adding Steem as a coin to the platform. That would be so so Awesome so watch this space and I will make an announcement as soon as I have formal confirmation.

So an exchange with an in-built social network, it's an interesting idea. If there was a multi-currency decentralised social media platform, that would be the holy grail I think. I guess that would be a cross between Bitshares and Steemit. I hope somebody is lining something like that up for EOS when it's launched.
I cant claim to know anything about Bitshares.
Scrypto dont seem to be saying to much but there will also be a scrypto coin and its own blockchain so it might just turn out to be what we are all hoping
It looks to me as though a 'decentralised version' (based on a blockchain) is in their future plans, but not an essential aspect of it, so I'm not all that hopeful. Very much looking forward to what comes of EOS though.
I gotta learn about EOS so!
