Building the rep on Steemit is a slow process and is like building the house from the foundation.
This seems like a difficult mission and maybe it really is. Depends on how you start and plan your Steemit career.

You are the architect and the construction worker at the same time

• You need the plan how big your house will be with how many rooms...
  ( decide how many posts per day you will produce)
• You need to define the purpose of the house is it for personal satisfaction or is a business facility
  (decide what are the topics of your posts)
• Who is going to live in this house and who do you invite
  (define to whom your post can be interesting and what kind of readers you are trying to attract)
• Who are your neighbors
  ( connect with the same minded people and make friends with them, support them, follow them, interact with them)
• Investment decision, how you will decorate your house and which furniture you will buy
  (decision to power up to the certain point )

First I would like to define what Steemit reputation is;
The Reputation Score is basically the way the Steemit community measure the value you have brought to the community. Reputation scores accurately represent how much value individuals bring to the platform.
We all start with the blank paper with the reputation (25), with each new level, it's harder to reach the next one.
I am on rep (62) over a six month now and I know that will be even harder in my future steps, I think of myself as a builder and I will not give up until the roof is done :)
