I can't wait for the day Bitcoin is accepted everywhere and I have no use for 3rd party companies to use my BTC.

Good point, I know of a few local business around where I live that accept Bitcoin and offer discounts if you pay with it.
If we see bitcoin being accepted at walmart and being used by all the kids in school. The bitcoin holdings people have right nows growth would be a joke getting in right now could literally still be early.

Most Likely Scenario
will be a smaller crypto currency, with a significantly faster transaction time and transaction per second capability being used in every day transactions. Something super fast and cheap. At the end of the day, the business will convert to btc and spend $6 to transfer it.
Currently, bitcoin is way too slow on confirmations and not able to handle 2k transactions per second, like Amex, Visa, MC networks. ;)
I don't wait around hours for my TXN to be confirmed lol...
And then worry about the tax implications of spending undeclared income!!
How would irs know? do you show your id buying btc? or you can always claim it on your taxes and stop worrying.
Are you serious? The minute you start spending it they will know. Then it’s child’s play to back track through the block chain. The block chain is an autitors dream. All exchanges have KYC measures in place. It’s simple for tax authorities to find you. Most crypto is less anonymous than cash.
Well, I suggest you don't spend your crypto then.

Btc will go up for sure. I see it as gold. Only used for buying big item. Cars. Houses. Preservation of wealth. Blochain 2.0 tech like bts. Eos. Steem is where the money and profits will be at in the few next years.
After lightning network goes live, I see Bitcoin really as the world’s currency. So excited to use different coins for every purpose, either for micro flash payments with Litecoin and Vertcoin atomic swaps, or private payments with Zcash. Once you start using cryptocurrencies, bank account payments that take several days and have a lot of limitations are completely obsolete.

I don't think you necessarily need to worry about it hitting the stores to explode with the price. It's already doing that effectively on it's own. $10k Bitcoin by the end of December? It's possible!
Bitcoin futures coming in next couple of months making it far more accessible to mainstream investors. That should have a major impact.
@grizpal you are right big money has no choice but to get in with the bitcoin futures coming into the mainstream markets. for us that can buy and sell it ourselves will be so ahead of the game.
The way it looks today, it may hit early December!! That would be nice for the holidays!!
