Vlogging From Japan - My Very First Video - Overcoming Fear and Giving Back (take 2)

in #dtube7 years ago

The first video that I have EVER uploaded to the internet. I realized how much of an impact that content creators have made on me thru the magic of the internet - and it's time to overcome my fear and give back. Here goes nothing.

Original music composed by maneki-neko

This is my second upload attempt because I couldn't get the first to load/or it had no sound on DTUBE (this one is mp4)

Just a thought on uploading and avoiding issues. I render my videos in 720p as it's the lowest resolution my editing software is capable of. If yours is capable of rendering in 480p you may try that setting because the longer the upload takes, the bigger the chance it will fail. I record in 4K, but the upload would require 1 hour per minute of video with my connection. In that time a lot can go wrong, not only with the connection, but also the conversion to 480p. Good luck with your travels, look forward to seeing more. Greetings!

Thank you! Yes 720 is much smoother!
Its almost impossible to find any guidance on this so as soon as I get my act together some more ill make a tutorial, or you should: HOW TO FORMAT VIDEOS FOR DTUBE!!!

I wish i could travel to japon to make my first video there too

It is much cheaper than you might think! I will be making videos about that as well..

I always was fascinated by the sound of Japanese. One day I would like to see the country with my own eyes.

For me it is the same thing with vlogs: I never wanted to show my face. Steemit has changed that. Although I also embrace the idea to use my Steemy puppet instead of myself as well. :D

You run music in the back. That is pretty cool. I was thinking to do that as well for my videos but I was hesitating.

Again, sorry for our little misunderstanding. We share a lot of opinions. ;)

Japan is basically the shizz.. Just last night I discovered a bar/restaurant where nothing costs more than 500 yen (about$4.50 no tax or tips) this includes about 20 varieties of pizza - not slices of pizza - whole medium size pizzas! This was after a long day of exploring the 200 temples and shrines within a mile of my house... Can't wait to revisit when it's slightly warmer though.. brrrrrr

And, yes I love the sound of Japanese, as well... until someone is asking you a question at about 45 syllables a second!

Nice, 4.50 per Pizza sounds like Berlin. Here in Costa Rica you pay over $20-30 per Pizza. That's why I never eat Pizza anymore.
