Watch Bowes Homestead Sunday - DTube Edition video on DTube

We are having a busy day already around our humble homestead, come check out the delicious disaster that we call home!

I'm so happy about DTube! A decentralized way we can upload our videos to Steemit! I hope every vlogger starts using it, I have a feeling it won't take long to catch on. Thanks for all your hard work on this @heimindanger!

Edit:

I'm getting feedback that the video won't play on cell phones :'( It is low quality and only 3:36. Maybe I had to compress it even more, IDK. The video I loaded yesterday worked, I converted it to an MP4. I will try that again next time. Here are a few photos from the video incase you are trying to view this from a phone.

Wow, these are really heavy zucchinis. Lots of work for the family.
Thank you for sharing on DTube. It gets more speed now.

Thank you very much for coming over to our crazy house!

looks like some great zucchinis :) and love dTube already! :)

YAYYYYYY for #DTUBE!!! Thanks for watching/coming over @redtravels! Much appreciated!!

Good harvest!)

Thank you very much @Deleni! :D <3 <3

RIP YouTube. 😎

Awesome!

Yep! Sayonara you greasy thieving censoring bastards! LOLOL

nice kids

The video seemed to stall twice near the beginning on my Galaxy S5 but then played smoothly. The same stalls happen for me on FB's live chats.

Great! Thank you so much for the feedback. It seems that people using android can watch it, just not apple phone or ipad.

Gardening is awesome, but my cucumber plants are complete goners. :O

Quick question about dtube - is there still a 7 day voting window on videos like there is for regular uploads?

Aww, poor little cucumbers :'( Any clue what got them?

As for your question:

Any video uploaded on DTube becomes a STEEM content, that can earn rewards for 7 days. DTube doesn't use either the title or the body of a content to store information, therefore if you don't want your video upload to appear in your feed, you can edit or delete it, the video would stay intact on DTube. While it would be possible to display nothing on other platforms like steemit.com or busy.org, I believe the current behavior to be fine and will help the platform growth and the users rewards.

I think it may have been a mixture from heavy rains, and there was a weak plant placed near the healthier plant (blight?)... Maybe next year things will go better! (Just getting started)

Thanks for the info about dTube. When I make animations they can take 20 - 60+ hours to create, so I doubt 7 days of upvotes would make it worthwhile. Maybe if SBD goes crazy high, I could try it.

Take care! :)

Sure, and just so we're on the same page, the dtube would post as your blog on your page, so it would be the same as before, when you post one of your animations on steemit, you could always load it onto dtube and youtube as well, and have both links in your post.
